A group of Samsung engineers have create a plan to harness the ability of your phone or maybe tablet to warn you of your impending stroke. By monitoring your brainwaves the machine would detect the early signs of your stroke, and could one day be built into your glasses to keep you safe constantly.
A stroke happens once the blood supply to section of your brain is take off by a clot or damaged with a bleed, which causes brain cells in the affected area to expire. According to the Planet Health Organisation, 15 million people around the globe suffer from a stroke each and every year. Around 66 per cent of people people die or are generally left with permanent actual physical disabilities.
To combat the problem, five Samsung engineers have create a prototype system called Early Detection Sensor & Formula Package (EDSAP). There are two parts towards system: a headset, covered in sensors in which record electrical impulses in the brain; and a cellular app, in which a algorithm analyses the brainwaves as well as, in less than one minute, determines the likelihood of your stroke.
